These are your stories….
The real people that wear Violet Gray, in your own words, about your special love.
And also, the rings that you now own and cherish and hopefully one day far into the future, will continue to live on the hands of many generations to come.

The first email landed in my inbox in February – Emily, was very excited to chat about their engagement ring. Time wise, the sooner the better was the plan… but then COVID hit the entire world, so we hit pause on their bespoke piece.
This is the love story of Em and Colin from the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Your story, lets start here… how did you meet Colin?
The first time we met was in his kitchen when we were both in relationships with other people.
It was a very quick encounter yet he left such a strong impression. 5 months later we matched on tinder and after one fun night out of absolute fireworks, we have been inseparable, and the rest is history.
Honestly, I never thought I’d meet my husband in my late 30’s on tinder, yet we are absolutely made for each other and now… well, we are catching up on the lost time.
Which ring did you receive?
She is just divine.
Tell us, how did your Bespoke ring come to you?
I’ve been following Violet Gray for a few years on Instagram and have been admiring her beautiful golden pieces from afar.
Col had asked for my Dad’s blessing during Christmas 2019 and our plan was to purchase a ring in April 2020 and then get engaged… and then, COVID19 happened and our ring viewing appointment with Violet Gray got cancelled. I was pretty bummed… (patience is not my forte!!!)
It was simple, yet so perfect.
Did you know that *she had been organised for you?
Yes, so I was involved in the whole process… but there was a twist. So the night before we were meant to pick her up, Alex (Violet Gray) cancelled our appointment. Little did I know, that my husband had secretively organised to have the ring posted up to him the week prior.
That weekend was a huge weekend for us as we had just bought a new home and we were moving house… (it all happens at once, huh!).
On the Sunday night, there was a small break in the rain. Col, the kids and I headed up to a mountain where we have been many times (including one of our first dates). It was there that Col surprised me and got down on one knee and proposed to me, with the most gorgeous ring in his hand, and with the three beautiful kids as witnesses to our love… it was very special and I was MORE than surprised.
Every time I look at my hand, I smile…
To me, she represents love, beauty and grace, and is a constant reminder of the commitment to my husband and to my family.
