Acrostic Necklace

This piece here is an ode to wearing the unspoken. Whether it be a personal sentiment, celebrating an important event in your life or wearing a loved one's name (or the first initial of each person in your family).

The Acrostic approach is an old and romantic language that is believed to have begun in the early 1800’s, each letter of the alphabet corresponds to a different naturally forming Gemstone and thus, the ‘secret language of Gemstones’ was born.

For example, the necklace pictured spells ‘DEAREST’ which was a popular sentiment and would be spelt with these gemstones: Diamond – Emerald – Amethyst – Ruby – Emerald – Sapphire – Tanzanite.
