I got the 6mm for a newish flat/ outer conch piercing but while I wait for the swelling to go down, this piece feels great as a low maintenance (& stunning) lobe piercing. The opal, gold, diamond design is even more beautiful in its simplicity in real life. Feels like a tiny guardian angel!

This is my first of what will be many Violet Gray pieces. I received my Solace flatback today and it is truly magical. Finding the right earring for my lower helix has been surprisingly difficult, but this piece fits the space beautifully and brings just the right amount of sparkle without overwhelming the ear.

The design feels thoughtful and intentional, perfectly balanced between delicacy and presence. Even the packaging reflects that same care, it feels like an experience rather than just another box in the mail.

I purchased this little diamond necklace as a gift to myself to celebrate the completion of a big work project. I’ve never invested in jewellery and this felt like a great excuse! It is so subtle, I love it. The diamonds often spin around from their weight. When this happens and the back is to the front, they look a bit like gold beads. Super delicate, super gorgeous piece that I’ve worn almost every day since having it. The different length extenders also create vastly different options (more than I expected tbh).

This flat back solid gold opal piece is an absolute dream! It’s super versatile and can work in lobes or any cartilage piercing you have. It’s the usual high quality jewelry that violet gray always brings. It’s comfortable and the flat back keeps the piece convenient so that a backing doesn’t get in the way or stab me (LOL).
I hope to keep this piece as a staple piece in my ear. It’s the perfect size for a dainty but “blinged up” ear stack. I ended up getting a second one once i saw the quality of the first. I also got the solace flat back. These are all 10/10. I always recommend Violet Gray, their intention, their staff and their pieces are all incredible and can’t be beat. Pictured here is the Solace, the Eira and one of Violet Gray’s older collection (the circle and dangling sapphires).
I also found the team super helpful and responsive with questions about the size of the poles and how to manage that.
Only advice I have is to ensure a tight fit with the proper direction of twist. Once you have it screwed on tight, it’s very stable.
