Material & Craft
14ct Solid Gold. Worn for generations.
Solid gold is exactly that: gold through and through. Unlike plated or filled alternatives, 14ct solid gold won't wear away, chip or fade over time. What you put on today will look the same in twenty years, and the same again in forty.
At 58.5% pure gold, 14ct strikes the balance between richness and durability that makes it the preferred choice for fine jewellery worn daily. It's heavier, warmer and more substantial than you expect, in the best possible way.
- Metal 14ct Solid Gold
- Purity 58.5% pure gold
- Colour Options Yellow · Rose · White
- Longevity Lifelong · will not fade or wear away
- Origin Australian gold · responsibly sourced

What Our Customers Say
Loved by those who wear it.
"I got the 6mm for a newish flat piercing but while I wait for the swelling to go down, this piece feels great as a low maintenance lobe piercing. The opal, gold, diamond design is even more beautiful in real life. Feels like a tiny guardian angel!"
"I combined this stud with other VG hoops and love how they look together. The hammering of the gold glistens and gives a fun vibe. This is the first time I have worn this type of flat back and I'm converted - so much more comfortable."
"Got matching serpents for my friend and I and they’re such a beautiful symbolic gift! I have super sensitive ears and these are the best quality, I can leave them in set and forget. Love this Aussie brand 🩵"
Common Questions

A flat-back stud is designed for comfort. It features a smooth backing that sits flush against the skin to minimise catching on hair, clothing, or while sleeping. It uses an internally threaded post where the front screws securely into place for a refined everyday fit. It is literally 'set and forget'. A regular stud uses a traditional butterfly backing. This style is familiar and easy to wear, though it is typically less secure and more prone to movement.
With regular wear, all threaded jewellery can gradually loosen through daily movement. We recommend gently checking and tightening your piece from time to time, particularly after sleeping, swimming, or washing your hair. If anything doesn’t feel quite right, we’re always here to help.
Post length depends on your anatomy, the placement of your piercing, and whether it is fully healed. A closer fit offers a more refined look, while a slightly longer post allows room for swelling or sensitivity. Here is a quick guide, but if you’re ever unsure, we’re happy to help you choose the most comfortable option.
5 mm: A close, refined fit ideal for thin lobes, upper lobes, or forward helix piercings where minimal post length creates a seamless look.
6 mm: The most universal length, suited to standard lobe and helix piercings for everyday comfort.
8 mm: Offers extra space and flexibility for thicker lobes, conch, or cartilage placements, allowing for natural swelling or movement.
Recommendations for healed piercings:
Lobe: 6 to 7mm
Upper Lobe: 5 to 6.5mm
Low Helix: 5 to 6mm
Helix: 5 to 6mm
Forward Helix: 5 to 7mm
Rook: 5 to 6.5mm
Tragus and Conch: 5 to 6.5mm
Yes, our posts are designed to be interchangeable. You can adjust between lengths to suit your comfort, your anatomy, or as your piercing heals and settles.
We highly recommend following your piercer’s guidance and allowing your piercing to fully heal before changing jewellery. Our pieces are best suited once the initial swelling has subsided and the skin has completely stabilised.
Yes, flat-back studs are specifically designed for continuous wear, including sleep. It is a major bonus. The low-profile backing sits gently against the skin, which significantly reduces pressure and irritation.
