These are your stories….
The real people that wear Violet Gray, in your own words, about your special love.
And also, the rings that you now own and cherish and hopefully one day far into the future, will continue to live on the hands of many generations to come.

It was via Instagram that we received a message that asked to see Cleotha on the finger and in natural lighting. Sara was curious about *her, there was something about this interesting design and natural Aussie Sapphire… and they took 24 hours to feel into their decision and make sure that it was the right ring for them and their love.
Well, Cleotha now lives permanently on Saras hand.
This is the love story / proposal of Sara and Brad from Brisbane, Australia.
Let’s start at the beginning… how did you meet Brad?
Brad and I met through mutual friends.
What do you love most about each other?
Describe your ring…
My ring is a 1.2ct freeform Natural Australian Sapphire, with accent baguette Diamonds / set in 14k Yellow and White Gold.
But the essence of my piece? I don’t even know how to describe Cleotha!
I think she has an energy of her own and owns it if I can even say that about a piece of jewellery. I guess it is tricky to explain in the written word.
Like many of the Violet Gray pieces, there is so much beauty and wonder that exudes from every piece but I love looking down at my own and looking into the stones like they’re windows and it just takes my mind to another place.
How did this ring come to you? (aka. the proposal)
Did you know *she had been organised for you?
Yes, we decided on Cleotha together.
Here is a little honest confession (which I feel slightly guilty but of course very happy about – sorry Alex).
I must admit when I first saw Cleotha I didn’t have the same reaction to a lot of the rings we had looked at which was “wow, that’s so beautiful!”.
When I first saw Cleotha I thought to myself “wow there is something about that ring that is really special”. I kept coming back to look at her over and over and I think she just kept speaking to me because out of the many styles and types of stones etc etc, I just kept coming back to Cleotha and I am so glad we went with her, as she feels really truly magical.
When you look down at your hand and see her, what does your ring symbolise to you?
