This naturally forming Green Sapphire is an Australian gemstone that was mined and cut in 1971/72 and is now more than 50 years old.
Set into the signature solitaire design combining a 4 claw, minimal basket setting intentionally sunk low into a half round white gold band. Due to the low stone setting, a curved wedding band would sit flush next to it.
