Name: Rose Quartz
Name Origin: The word ‘quartz‘ comes from the German word ‘quarz‘ from the mid 18th Century. The word is also associated with the word ‘kwardy‘ (Polish dialect) which is related to the Polish word ‘twardy‘ meaning ‘hard‘. The word ‘rose‘ comes from Middle or Old English and originates from the Latin word ‘rosa‘.
Found: Rose Quartz can be found all over the world. Commercially the stone tends to be mined in Madagascar, South Africa, Namibia, Brazil, and the United States.
Core Message: Unconditional Love, Gentleness, Emotional Healing.
Colour: Rose Quartz comes in various shades of a translucent pink, ranging from pale pink to a hue similar to that of a red rose.
Birthstone: A stone for those that are a Taurus: born between 19th of April – 20th of May.
Spiritual Benefits: Helps connect you with the Divine (your version of it) and helps dissolve the impact of past hurts.
